Peter M Bradlee, PhD
After graduating from the University of Massachusetts in 1972 I worked for two years at a Community Counseling Center in Amherst. This was my alternative, civilian service that I did in lieu of military service as a Conscientious Objector to the war in Vietnam. During that time I joined a men’s consciousness raising group and co-founded the Amherst men’s center. Later, I moved out to California to train to become a therapist. I worked in a residential treatment center in Berkeley for two years, then went into a Clinical Counseling program at CSU, Hayward (now CSU, East Bay) and, from there, into a doctoral program in Psychology at UC Davis. After teaching for a few years, I came back into clinical work and became a licensed psychologist. I have maintained a private practice in Vacaville since 1998. I work with people of all ages, male and female, children and adults, and enjoy doing marriage counseling as well. Along with traditional talk therapy, I provide neurofeedback therapy to many of my clients. Another significant part of my practice involves psychological and neuropsychological assessment.
